Hi! I'm Sophie, the fifteen year-old blogger that runs 'A Day Dreamer's World' - which I began writing in April 2012! When I'm not blogging, I can be found with my head in a book or typing with a Word document open in front of me. I love baking(although my cakes are rarely edible), writing short stories and pouty and listening to music, as well as spending most of time procrastinating on Twitter or YouTube. I drink too much tea, enjoy watching American TV and am a huge fan of The Hunger Games and Divergent.
I fell in love with reading once I began reading Enid Blyton's The Naughtiest Girl in the School series, and after that I soon discovered Jacqueline Wilson's novels; my favourite being Hetty Feather because of the feisty main character. I read the magazines(which I still have in a Tracy Beaker bag), collected the books and my 'Top Ten' list was almost filled completely by her works. I was lucky in the fact my local library was on the same road as my Primary School, and can't remember a time when I didn't visit, and still I pass it everyday after school.
I never decided to start a book blog: it just continued after I posted my first book review. I was introduced to the world of YA after reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and my real obsession with reading began. Now, other favourites of mine are the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth, the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness, the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and Pretty Girl 13 by Liz Coley.
I also love London, and hope to travel to New York for BEA in the future!
Hope you like my blog!
